Some friends of mine were recently telling me about a quote from of a favorite movie of theirs. It  says

Are we human because we gaze at the stars? Or do we gaze at the stars because we are human?

I ask you, “Is this not the ultimate question?” What does make us who we are? Are we who we are because of what we do? Or do we do what we do because who we are? The next time you see the stars, think about who you are and what makes you that way.

Sue Thomas F.B. I Eye. A show even more awe (and “aww”)-inspiring than Charlie’s Angels and Psych put together, and that’s saying something. You see, Sue is completely deaf. However, it is her special ability to read lips and her incredible, cheerful personality that make her so valuable to the rest of her team (Shown above) at the F.B.I. headquarters in Washington D.C. The team (In order -left to right, back to front- as shown in picture: Bobby, Myles, D, Lucy, Sue, Jack, Tara, and Levi -her hearing dog) is like a big family. They have their up and their downs but-at the end of the day- they all show they love andc are about each other and will always be there for everyone else. A definate ” must-watch”. In fact, if you haven’t yet watched Charlie’s Angels or Psych, watch this one first.

Recently I heard a song by Brad Prasily called “I am Still Guy” he talks about I will do this and that but remember I am still a guy. He has a point. Girls we cannot make men women. Ditto to guys. Abandon the quest. Live with the way we are. Appreciate each other’s differences and love each other’s similarities.

            Men may never truly understand women IT’S OKAY. We are different. It is a simple concept no a truth. Girls, Guys stop tossing the blame. It takes two to pick fight, realize you both have faults. Lets’ make easier on everyone and change little things to help each other.

Girls back off give the guys some breathing room, They need some time to switch gears. Give them credit they try.

Guys half the time girls don’t know what they feel or want. We appreciate the effort to try to understand our feelings, just understand we do not understand. It is a work in progress.

It is all a work in progress. We were getting there. Lets’ all communicate and get to happily after together. It may take everything we have but seems like its worth it.

Random BWT: Why do we say it is the greatest thing since sliced bread? I pretty sure most of the world takes sliced bread for granted…. Wonder how that quote started….

P.S.S. This is Jala theologies, I don’t mean to create stereotypes and what it says above might not be true about all guys and girls.

First being theoretically tarsier-ed is not as fun as it sounds. Whatever happened to “you will catch more flies with honey than vinegar,” Rika?  

Rika if glitter is sign of weakness ( see Conair post) then is the nearbyfuture weak, for we now have” theoretical glitter” at the top of our page. 

Okay sorry, I just could resist pointing that out Rika! We need to stop using the word theoretical. 

Now for the real stuff…. Frozen yogurt beats ice cream every time. It healthier, looks better, and tastes better than ice cream plus it is in Chuck! Even Sarah loves frozen yogurt. In fact, I predict that because of current trends frozen yogurt shops will become about as popular as Starbucks except in the frozen delicious, snack, lunch, and otherwise amazing foods industry. 

Now for the real article. WAIT look! I just took half a post commenting other poeples’ posts . WOW, that takes skill, ha-ha not really. Now that I think about it, a lot of our society is just comments on other peoples work. I do not want to rain on anyone’s parade but I do not think that there has been an original idea in an at least 200 years. We just build off other people’s ideas. Almost everything in today’s society alludes to something else that has already been said, done, or heard.    

  I believe that somewhere in Along for the Ride it says something a long the lines of, the story never changes just the details. Therefore, if this logic is to be believed then the future will have the same story line as today. It makes sense, we are creatures of habit .We get up in the morning shower take our coffee, go to work, ECT. Most people do the same thing repeatedly everyday. It cannot be explained why we do what we do other than we do it for comfort, for familiarity. We were creatures of habit. That is the way it is, the way has been, and looks like that is the way we will continue to be. 

Keeping try to oust the older ideas. Lets’ make improvements that burst with creativity; lets’ revolutionize the world with the same ideas done differently. For what is life with out near impossible goals and giant challenges?

An idea came into my brain the other day: why is it that movie directors/ script writers can’t come up with ideas for movies anymore?
Sure there have been some creative movies, but when you think about it there has been hardly any out of the 100s that have come out. Almost every movie nowadays is a remake,was a book, or even based of tv shows now, or even songs! what is up with that?! it almost killed me the other
day to know they are making a remake of the karate kid! who would ever remake such an 80s classic?

Our future in movies is doomed if we keep remaking old movies. Sure remakes are probably made due to the fact that they were a hit once why not make some extra money… the fact of the matter is if they were classics to begin with and we love the actors why do we have to remake them and butcher them. Chances are they won’t even own up to the original in the first place.

Our future in movies is all but one remake of the same movies over and over again it’s such a shame. Plus kids in the future won’t even know about the amazing original and think of the remake as being better. It makes me sad being a movie junky as I am

I mean honestly when you think about it which one is better? 99% of the time it’s the original.

Thus is the logic of Shawn Spencer and his buisness-partner-slash-best-friend-since-preschool, Burton “Gus” Guster, open up a psychic detective agency called .

This delicious show is a three course meal.

• APPETIZER: SUSPENSE. This show is like a box. That box is stuffed with action. Many crimes are solved as they consult for the Santa Barbara Police Department. The suspense is kept high. The veiwer is kept wanting more, anticipating each new twist and turn. Like a pretzel! Yes, that’s it! It’s a pretzel of suspense.

•  ENTREE: COMEDY. Psych is a bucket, running over with comedy. Shawn and Gus come up with a witty line litterally every scene.

1.  Gus: This guy wouldn’t know a good deal if it bit him on the seat of his Hans-Solo-Action-Figure pants.
2. Shawn (After being told bounty-hunter wrist-bands don’t come in “Tiny”):…..Well that’s easy. We’ll just get a women’s large.

These are just a few examples. If you like a good belly-laugh, with a side of action then this is a THE show for you.

• DESSERT: ROMANCE. Shawn falls in love with a co-worker from the police department early on. As their time working together increases, so do her feelings for him.

The only way I can’t be there for (Woman’s name removed for privacy suspenseful purposes) is if I know that you are.

Shawn tells Gus as the two run in seperate directions to save two very different girls. Aww!

…Now I’m hungry. *Calling over shoulder* Jala! Rika! Let’s get some Food!

We got a Burn Notice on you. You’re black listed.

An ominously nonchalant voice well say at the beginning of each episode. Sorry to those of you who like it, but Rika and I have to agree that its just plain corny! Remember that article where Rika said she was talking to Calister and I, and I commented on how Burn Notice was so corny it was hilarious? This is why.  I was watching an episode one day- I don’t remember which one- and There is a knock on the door of the house belonging to the mother of Michael Weston. She asks who it is, from directly behind the door, and receives the reply “Agent Callhoon. FBI.” she then opens the door and the cheesy little captions they always have pops up. Guess what it says? You got it. Agent Callhoon. FBI. As if we didn’t already know that! I started laughing so hard I was literally crying! SO CORNY. (However, I have been informed that for those who watch it that have short attention spans, this is extremely helpful in keeping them focused.) Still, though. I mean, really. Come on, guys (Burn Notice producers), step it up a little?

Do you remember that old T.V. series with Jaclyn Smith, Farrah Fawcett, and Kate Jackson? Charlie’s Angels? (The series from the 1970s, not the movie)? Some of you will answer with an enthusiastic “Oh yeah!”. From other’s, however, I simply receive an “umm…-I-have-no-idea-what-you’re-even-talking-about-slash-wait..-there-was-a-series-too?” look. Charlie’s Angels.

Three woman- Kelly, Sabrina, and Jill- graduated from the Los Angeles Police Academy together. Even though they are incredibly talented and work extremely well together, they are stuck with the pencil-pushing jobs.  Finally having had enough, the quit the force and are hired by the Charles Townsend Agency as private detectives. Charlie, their boss whom we never see, is kind of like a godfather to them all.

I have always loved this show. Most of the crime-solving television shows have men as the main characters/detectives. (I.e. NCIS, White Collar, CSI, etc.) Not this show. In Charlie’s Angels, the “Angels” are three, female, kick-butt graduates from the Police Academy. If you have not yet watched this incredibly amazing series, I suggest you do so. Go on Hulu (R). Go on Netflix (R). Go where ever you want, just watch it!

The Best is Yet to Come. Not only is this an epic Frank Sinatra song, but it is also a very true statement in the case of yours truly. You see, Rika has challenged us to a “writers competition” if you will. (We prefer to refer to it as our Ninja-turtle assassination attempt). I just don’t think she fully understands exactly what she’s getting herself into. You see, I am EXTREMELY competitive. Someone (Rika) gives us (the TNF staff ) a challenge and its on! I take it very personally. I am planning articles over a week in advance. No joke. So, the best articles are yet to come. Oh yeah…See below for an amazing picture of Frank Sinatra.

Something alarmed me the other day. It was a half day from school absolutely gorgeous outside about 12:45 in the afternoon.
Yet no one was outside!
As a kid of the 90s I remember always coming home from school and running

outside to the nearby park, swinging on swings, running around,
playing tag with my next door neighbor, playing hide

and seek, cops and robbers, you name it!
Everyday after school was filled with fun games outside and exercising… nowadays

kids are so lazy. Now when my mom asks me to go walk the dogs I complain and say “do i have too?” while playing with my iphone.

Technology is a dangerous thing. I remember being a kid and only ever being outside except for at night when you had to come

home for dinner… (this was a rule in my family) I seldom ever watched tv due to the fact that nothing came on until at night,

which were all Disney movies and the only time they really had good cartoons was on Saturday morning before breakfast.

You had to wait all week to see the cartoons. Other than that us kids were outside every second we had a chance to be.

Around the time I entered the 4th grade my parents brought home our first computer! I WAS MESMORIZED, I HAD NEVER SEEN

ANYTHING LIKE IT BEFORE. MY EYES BECAME GLUED TO THAT LITTLE SCREEN! It was very unlikely back then for a family to

have a computer, it was like when TVs first came out….. I instantly became glued to the computer. The fact of the matter is when kids get

home the go right on the computer, play video games, or go on their phones. Technology is improving our society yes but it is also

destroying it as well. If it had been that same half day in the 90s you would have barely had room at the playground but instead

the other day no one was around.. it was a total and utter ghost town!!!!!! It’s amazing to think of how much stuff has changed even from

when I was a kid. Kids are super lazy and I admit I am too. Who really wants to hang out at the park anymore? LAME!

The fact of the matter is we are becoming less active and more lazy as time goes on.. It’s sad to think kids of future generations

won’t ever know what it feels like to come home after school and instantly go outside \.

I miss those old days… Everything seemed less complicated back then. I remember when my favorite thing in the world

were my overalls and rolling down hills. Those were the days<3

Google. Its like the brain we never NEEDED!

Because, seriously, when are people going to use half the stuff they learn at scho0ls today, and if they actually DO need it, it would be soo much quicker to go on Google.

Have you ever been to Disney Land? I am sure most of you can say you have.

Well one of my favorite attractions by far is the house of innovations located in tomorrow land I believe.

It shows inventions that are predicted to be invented in the future with examples.

Yes, this is not a ride but more of a museum of the future.

Next time you are in Disney Land I would very much recommend you visit it!

Who wouldn’t love a dresser that shows you in your clothes before you actually put them on.

All of the inventions seem as if they are real.

Who knows maybe in the future they will be! I am sure scientists are already

trying to make the inventions displayed in Disney Land!

“My feet have diagonal blisters spanning the diameter of my ankle that are bleeding profusely from my overpriced shoes that I bought and wore in the limo to prom but then I unceremoniously chucked into the corner after five minutes of attempting to dance in them!”

Yep, I have a bone or five to pick with some of the ridiculous ‘traditions’ of prom.

1. You hear that? That’s the sound of thousands of prom goers complaining about their overly-expensive uncomfortable high heeled shoes. Why would women spend all this money on a pair of shoes that they’re only going to toss to the side so they can walk thoroughly perplexes me.
2. Limos. You pay by the hour, so the limo driver is raking in the cash when he’s sitting in his cushioned vehicle doing nothing.
3. Ten inch fake nails. Contacts + fake nails = how are you supposed to take out your contacts? Or tie your shoes? Really, people, let’s think about this for a moment.

The awaited third movie of the Twilight Saga: Eclipse is coming to theatres this summer on June 30. Personally, I am so excited for it. My friends and I have went to the midnight premiere for all of the movies, and having it in the summer will be a lot easier in those two or more hour lines just to get in the theatre. However, I was wondering why this movie was coming out so soon after New Moon was just released this past November.

I have probably said many times before that you need to read the series before seeing any of the movies. I still stand strong by that statement. Even though I adore the movies, honestly, my favorite part about them is Taylor Lautner (he’s so gorgeous)! Please, please, please read the series before seeing the movie. It is my favorite book out of all of them (probably because Bella kisses Jacob).

Anyways, does anybody have any thoughts on the movie? Is 7 months too soon to release the third movie?
