Age-Old Battle: ACTIONS vs. WORDS

We have all heard the old saying :

Actions speak Louder than words

Of course we have all also wondered….”Is it true?”

I say to you now, “IT IS TRUE!” In that age-old battle words have, and ever will be, defeated by actions.

Think about it. Imagine yourself  in the following scenario.

It’s the first day of school and you’re new in town. You meet two people almost immediately. Both promise to show you around and be your friend.  You have one class with both of them. In that class, the first person invites you to come sit by them; they introduce you to people and talk to you about how your classes are going. In that same class, the second person scoffs when you walk in the door; cold-shoulders you the rest of class; and whispers something, pointing to you, that causes their friends to laugh.

They both said the same words but had different actions. Which of the two would you believe actually wanted to be your friend?…………………….Person number one.  You see, somebody could shout something from the rooftops with a bullhorn, but if their actions said the opposite it wouldn’t matter. Actions DO speak louder than words.
