Dancing. Who needs it, right?
As someone who used to have two left feet waaaaay back when, I can empathize with those of you who hate dancing.
But, in fact, it’s a necessary life skill. Dancing, in almost any form, can aid you in almost every situation.
- Have you ever seen a spy movie/action movie where they’re not tangoing it up on the dance floor? Seriously, if you’re goal in life is to be a spy or an actor, you better have your sambas and your tangos down!
- Parties. Sure, hanging out with friends and talking is fun, but the age old equation of friends + music = fun also has to include a ‘+dancing’.
- You’ll embarass yourself otherwise. A ’sorry, I don’t know how to dance’ is an awkward thing to say at somewhere like, say, a dance!
- If you plan on getting married and dancing at your wedding, why not learn some snazzy steps now?
- You’ll impress people. Whether you’re breakdancing or showing off a salsa, people will respect you. Dancing takes time, energy, and confidence!
