The Culinary Institutue of America was founded in 1946 and the Central Inteligence Agency was founded in 1947.

The reason that the Culinary Institute of America choose its name was to relflect diversity of its student population. Also, at the time it was founded, it was one of only a few actual cooking programs of any kind in the U.S.</description>
