When I say ‘CIA’, what do you think of? Gun-toting trench-coat clad figures stepping out of a fog? Government employees? Long coats and stern faces? Dark sunglasses?
Clam chowder?
Or what about artisan bread? You see, those last two are exactly what the CIA is about. Or, The Culinary Institute of America, as it’s called.
The acronym ‘CIA’ is the name for more than just that singular clandestine job. In fact, I found a whole list!
Is this intentional? Did the “Cisco Intelligent Agents” and “Culinary Arts Institution” chose their names because of the most popular meaning of the acronym?

Here’s a tid bit for you.
The Culinary Institutue of America was founded in 1946 and the Central Inteligence Agency was founded in 1947.
The reason that the Culinary Institute of America choose its name was to relflect diversity of its student population. Also, at the time it was founded, it was one of only a few actual cooking programs of any kind in the U.S.
Hi there,
Where are you from? Is it a secret?
Have a nice day
Oh my gosh! I was just asking my mom the other day when there was a little prank going on what the CIA stood for!
