Hannah Montana: The Movie. Wow…what an original name for a movie title. Anyways, this weekend in Harkin’s Theatre’s box office, the Hannah Montana movie came in first with a whopping $32,324,487. That is $50,86,582 more than Fast and Furious in which came in second! Hannah Montana was just released this weekend, where Fast and Furious was released a weekend before, but that is still a lot of money!
Based on the hit Disney Channel television show, Hannah Montana, this is a movie that gets just a bit deeper than the show. Miley has a hard time trying to deal with school, friends, and being a pop star. Hannah Montana is more popular than ever, and she becomes so overwhelmed, that she might just show her true identity. To just get away from the stardom, her father Robbie Ray takes her to Crowley Corners, Tennessee. She finds reality, fun, and romance along the way.
This movie was rated almost 5 stars according to 667 out of 676 people (99%)! If you think about it, Miley Cyrus’s majority audience is keyed toward younger children, so those who voted on Harkins are probably adults. If they liked it, maybe we should give it a shot! She has gotten quite a bit negative publicity, but let’s hope she turns her image around to be a role model again.
The success of this movie is paving the way for other shows-turned-movies in the future, and expect companies looking to get rich quick to make movies like this one, based an a prexisting franchise or TV show.
I think I’m going to see it with some friends. If you saw it, what were your thoughts? Is it worth seeing?

Dude I went and saw that!!
I think that it was good but I think she cheated a little with her decision I mean she didn’t even have to give up either one. I didn’t want her to give up, but the whole plot was about choosing one not getting both. But I still think it was great!!
Good Article Hope!
