Vampires have not only been invading the box office, but they’re also in our homes.
And no, I’m not talking about the sparkling kind.
I’m talking about vampire power. The cell phone chargers and other electronics plugged into the wall- even if they’re not being used- waste energy. To enable devices to start immediately they need energy almost constantly. That’s the reason why things like your computer are warm to the touch.
So to continue looking up the Twilight cast’s latest interviews while still saving power, here are some simple solutions;
- Use a power strip. Plug all of your devices into the power strip and then just turn off the whole power strip when you’re done!
- Invest in energy-friendly electronics (like this cell phone charger featured on treehugger.com)
- Unplug your electronics. Sure, this is harder if you have a lot of things to unplug daily, but the cheapest way.
Roll with the good vamps, save electricity!

WOW! That’s the most ridicukous thing I’ve ever heard in my life. Everyone knows that vampire power is a myth. I saw it on the Discovery Channel.
Oh… And I meant to say ridiculous.
So yeah… Just sittin’ here in the back of the class waiting for the bell to ring so I can get on with my life. Just beat Rika at the test. I’m almost positive I aced it. She’s not so sure…
Yeah, he just told us we aced it. I’m pretty pumped. That should help my floundering grades…
I blame Rika for my grades. She always throws crap at me in class and does her little look thing at me and makes me go psycho security guard on her. She’s lucky this time…
Ma’am! Ma’am! Please calm down Ma’am! I’ll be back. Not really, class is about to end…
You blame me for your one ‘B’? Psh! Then I blame you for my two ‘B’s!
And I aced my test too. 100%.
