Even better than a fuel-efficient car is walking to places close by, or making one trip out to run all your errands instead of heading out and coming home three or four times a day.

Yes, that’s very true. I also think the U.S. should focus on creating more bike-friendly paths and such to encourage people to get out and get exercise.

Some places actually do have bike paths, but people are having problems with were the paths should be. Because they can’t put them near sidewalks because bikers could run over pedestrians. But they also can’t put them next to the street because you are to close to cars. However I have seen bike paths.

There are many bike paths- it’s just I think we need more to encourage people to ride their bikes to school and work. It is hard to know where to place them- like you said, bike paths and bike lanes next to traffic discourages many people to bike because of the safety hazard.

Yea somehow “the end of the world is near bike to save the environment, but be cautious because it could be the end of you” just isn’t motivational

You’re right. It does have a nice ring to it, though!
